For anglers coming from Bacău, follow the national road Bacău-Vaslui. When exiting Bacău towards Vaslui, after the bridge over the Siret River, at the first intersection, turn right (DJ 252 A). In Buhoci, in the center, at the intersection, at the heroes’ monument, turn left, then follow the road through the forest towards Bibirești, going straight ahead to Horgești. 

For anglers coming from Bucharest, follow the A7 motorway to Adjud or Răcăciuni. When entering Răcăciuni, turn right onto road DJ252 towards Dieneț. From Dieneț, turn left on DJ252B, then right at Răcătău de Jos (DJ252A) and follow the road to Horgești. The distance from Bucharest to Horgești is about 300km, mostly on motorways.
