Also, short sessions can be useful for those who can take advantage of favourable weather. If there is a 24-48 hour period with strong winds and rain, which can bring optimal feeding conditions for carp, an angler who knows the lake can make a 48-hour booking only for that specific period, with good chances of success.
For those who do not know the lake well enough or have to travel long distances, three or four-day sessions or longer are recommended.
Horgești cannot be considered an easy lake. It is a big carp lake, not a runs water. Bites can be rare on some days, and on others they can be completely absent, depending on various factors.
